Mangaluru, Oct 3: Charles K C, an undergraduate student pursuing BBA Port, Shipping Management & Logistics at Srinivas University Pandeshwar, has created a world record as largest patriotic portrait by screw art.
Charles, a creative artist, set the new record on June 17, 2021.
He made a portrait of Swami Vivekananda measuring 4 ft × 3 ft size on wooden cardboard using 2,768 half-inche iron screws and acrylic paints.
Charles set the record under the guidance of Dr Sonia Noronha, course coordinator and Prof Keerthan Raj, dean CMC, Srinivas University.
