Mangaluru: Bike hits divider - One killed, another injured

Mangaluru, Oct 5: After a motorbike hit a road divider near KPT here on Monday October 4 morning, the bike rider was killed. The pillion rider survived with serious injuries.

The person who lost his life was Abdul Haseeb (19) while Ismail Swabir (18) suffered serious injuries. The two who left from Deralakatte by motorbike were moving towards Baikampady on national highway 66 when at about 4.30 am the bike hit the divider near the SKS apartments cross road near KPT. Abdul Haseeb's head banged against the electric pole planted on the divider, and he was critically injured. He was taken to hospital and treated but his life could not be saved. Ismail Swabir is being treated in a hospital.

Abdul Haseeb's father has a vegetables store in Baikampady. Haseeb along with worker, Ismail Swabir, were going to the shop when the accident happened.
