Sullia: Court sentences man clicking photos, recording videos near toilet

Sullia, Oct 5: Relating to the incident in which a person clicked the photographs of girl students and made their videos near the girls’ toilet of the junior college's high school sections here, the court has found him guilty. It has sentenced him.

The case was filed in the year 2017. Sullia police sub-inspector of the time, Chandrashekhar H, had filed a charge sheet in the court.

Senior judge of the court here, Somashekhar, who heard the petition, imposed jail term of one year and fine of Rs 10,000 on the accused. If he fails to pay fine, he has been ordered to undergo one additional month of jail term.

Out of the said fine, eight thousand rupees has been ordered to be paid to the girl by way of compensation.

Assistant public prosecutor Janardan B, had argued the case on behalf of the prosecution.
