Udupi: Foot march by HJV without permission, case filed under Epidemic Act

Udupi, Oct 17: A case is filed against the Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) of the city for holding foot march without prior permission and violating Covid-19 orders of DC.

Activists of HJV held a foot march on the evening of October 15 from Mahishamardini temple at Kadiyali to Ambalpadi Mahakali Amma temple without any permission.

This is said to be clear violation of the order of the deputy commissioner to prevent Covid-19 pandemic.

A case in this regards is filed at the city police station under column 5(1), 5(4) of The Karnataka Epidemic Diseases Act of 2020.

    Why police did not react quickly on Oct 15 to stop it when the march was held knowing it was without their permission?????….Why did police allow it to take place till the end anyway?????. This is only an eye wash by police. Both these organisation and police are hand in glove to fool people. In fact police have ask this organization’s permission to stop the march since the high command master mind behind this march and top cop of police is same person so the case filed has no importance now as anyway the goal is achieved and mission accomplished and the case also will be thrown into garbage eventually as our memory fades.

    For a Hindu dominant country like India the crowd was just a peanut. I was there and saw the entire rally. All useless jobless goons which are actual problem of our society was present in the rally. There were more people in ANTI CAA and NRC protest in mangalore in 2019.
