Udupi, Oct 17: A case is filed against the Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) of the city for holding foot march without prior permission and violating Covid-19 orders of DC.
Activists of HJV held a foot march on the evening of October 15 from Mahishamardini temple at Kadiyali to Ambalpadi Mahakali Amma temple without any permission.
This is said to be clear violation of the order of the deputy commissioner to prevent Covid-19 pandemic.
A case in this regards is filed at the city police station under column 5(1), 5(4) of The Karnataka Epidemic Diseases Act of 2020.
