Karkala: Three houses damaged in Inna gram due to unexpected heavy rain

Karkala, Nov 24: The sheets of the roof of the dwelling house belonging to Baby Moolya at Bernotu, Inna gram here flew in the heavy rain storm and thunder on Wednesday evening, November 24. The sheets are completely damaged causing a loss of about Rs 50 thousand.

An uprooted coconut tree fell on the residential house of Sharada Acharya, Kainalu causing an estimated loss of about Rs ten thousand.

A tree collapsed on the roof of the house of Moodu Benny Narayana Acharya. The loss in this case also is estimated to be Rs ten thousand.

Inna gram panchayat president Kusha R Moolya, panchayat development officer Sathish and village accountant Ravishanker visited the spots and conducted inspections.
