Mumbai, Feb 8: Office bearers of the Federation of Hotel and Restaurant association Maharashtra visited president of the Nationalist Congress party, former union minister and former Maharashtra chief minister Sharad Pawar and MLA Supriya Sule at Janpath government bungalow, New Delhi, explained to them the issues being faced by hotel industry in Mumbai and requested to solve them.
Federation president Dr Shanker B Shetty Virar led the delegation. Federation senior vice president Sham N Shetty, chief secretary Durgaprasad C Salian and advisory committee president Kalathur Vishwanath Shetty were present.
Sharad Pawar who listened to the delegation and MP Supriya Sule assured that they will try to withdraw the increase in hotel licence fee within a week.
