Mangaluru, Feb 23: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal staged protest here at Mallikatte circle on Wednesday February 23 condemning the murder of Bajrang Dal member Harsha at Shivamogga.
Addressing the protestors, VHP leader Puneeth Attavar said, “Due to the sacrifice of Hindu representatives, BJP has come to power. BJP are silent and failing to protect Hindu youths. No one should dare to provoke us. We will definitely retaliate over Harsha's murder. We demand the encounter of Harsha's murder accused.”
VHP leader Deviprasad Shetty said, ‘The government is mum when Hindu representatives are brutally murdered. Organizations like PFI and SDPI continuously attack Hindus. The government should take steps to ban such organizations.”
VHP leaders M B Puranik, Bujanga Kulal and others were present.
