Shivamogga, Feb 24: Diocesan pre-Synod took place on February 21, 2022 in SANNIDHI under the leadership of bishop Francis Serrao and in the presence of consultors, senate fathers, DPC members, DFC members, religious, commission directors, presidents of associations.
In all, 65 participated in the final phase of the consultation at the diocesan level. During the Pre-Synod, the consolidated reports of the deaneries were looked into in five groups. The diocesan Synod team will again sit together to finalise the reports indeed considering deletions, additions as recommended in the groups on the pre-Synod day.
The bishop in his final remarks pointed out that consultation shall continue at all levels - associations, meetings, etc. The diocesan Synod team will present the final draft soon, it said.
