Goal of human life should be to follow the Almighty's will," said Dr Lawrence Mukkuzi, Bishop, Diocese of Belthangady.

He addressed the gathering celebrating the Eucharistic celebrations here in St Lawrence Minor Basilica, Attur on the final day of annual feast.

The annual feast began on February 20. On the last day of the feast special prayers were offered for the well being of the devotees.

Fr Maxim Noronha celebrated the feast Eucharistic mass in Konkani. Fr Jason Martis of Basrur, Fr Sunil Veigas of Kerekatte, Fr Charels Menezes of Udupi, Fr Valerian Menodonca conducted the Eucharistic celebrations on the day.

Sadashiva Prabhu, assistant district commissioner, Purandara K, Karkala tahshildar and other dignitaries visited the shrine.

The annual feast of the minor basilica had been postponed by one month due to the Covid pandemic.
