Bengaluru: Balachandra Jarkiholi unanimously elected director of NCDFI

Bengaluru, Feb 25: Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) chairman and MLA Balachandra Jarkiholi, has been unanimously chosen as the director of the National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India (NCDFI) having its headquarters in Anand, Gujarat.

Returning officer, Sajjal Biswas, announced that in addition to Jarkiholi, Venkatarao Nadagauda, Shamalbhai Patel, Randheer Singh and K S Mani representing different cooperative institutions from different parts of the country were also elected as directors unopposed.

NCDFI is a premier cooperative institution of the country. It has been coordinating the supply of milk and milk products to defence department from different milk unions in the country. From 2016, these institutions have set up an online sale system of milk and milk products.
