Mangaluru, Feb 25: City north and south block Congress staged protest here at Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) on Friday February 25, against MCC’s failure over administration.

Addressing the protestors, former MLA J R Lobo said, “The MCC has turned out to be a den of corruption. There is complete failure of administration. Proper decisions are not taken in any projects. Even people are being harassed without any proper arrangements for them at the office premises. The public is made loiter here and there in work related to licence. When I was the MLA, funds poured into MCC for the projects. Now you see, the road are dug everywhere and not restored. The Kadri Park road has been developed with crores of money but the park is in pathetic condition and untouched.”

Congress leader Mohammed said, “BJP has never brought any projects to Mangaluru. They only take credit from the projects brought by Congress.”

Congress leaders A C Vinayaraj, Mohiuddin Bava, Shashidhar Hegde and others were present.
