Kundapur, Feb 26: B Y Raghavendra, Shivamogga MP visited chief minister Basavaraj Bommai at Vidhan Saudha on Feb 26. He requested the chief minister for cabinet approval for the proposal worth Rs 400 crores for supplying drinking water to houses in Kundapur vidhan sabha constituency under Jala Jeevan mission project.

He also requested the chief minister for his approval for various other development projects in the constituency.

The MP also requested the chief minister to upgrade the current hospital as taluk hospital with the capacity of 100 beds. He requested the chief minister to approve Siddapur irrigation project in order to provide water to 1,200 hectares land in Siddapur, Ajri, Kodgadi, Hosangadi and Karkunje.
