Bengaluru: Two road accidents - Three die including two techies perish

Bengaluru, Feb 28: In two separate road accidents in the city which happened on Sunday February 27, three including two techies who were first cousins, lost their lives.

After a car which approached Byatarayanapura junction at high speed smashed into a Bullet motorbike, two cousins died together. They were Kiran (22) from Amrutahalli, and his relative, Yatish (23). Both of them had not taken care to wear their helmets.

In another incident, a motorbike rider, Raghuveer (24), resident of Balgalagunte, died after his bike hit the road divider. Raghuveer was employed in a private company. He was returning home after attending a marriage reception programme in Hegdenagar. The accident happened on the Hebbal ring road after Raghuveer lost control over the vehicle. He too was not wearing the helmet.

Two separate cases were registered about these accidents in the Hebbal traffic police station.
