Udupi, Feb 28: Pressure cookers were distributed to 15 students, beneficiaries of Yakshagana Kalaranga Vidyaposhak by Gururaj Amin, owner of C4U channel and cable operator on February 27 at the office of the organization.
Gururaj Amin and his wife Jayalaxmi Gururaja Amin couple distributed the Gift box containing cooker, hotbox and tawa to the students and extended their wishes to them.
Entrepreneur Sajit Hegde and Santhosh Kumar Shetty were present. Somappa, beneficiary of Vidyaposhak, who is selected for national level Karate championship was felicitated on the occasion.
M Gangadhar Rao, president of Vidyaposhak, welcomed the gathering and remembered the sponsorship of Gururaj Amin to provide houses for three needy students.
Prof Narayana M Hegade rendered vote of thanks. Secretary Murali Kadekar compered and event and also did the introductory speech.
