Sullia: Man on routine walk hit by car, dies

Sullia, Mar 2: Saroj Kumar (55) from Aranthodu in the taluk who was on his walking routine at Gadikallu on national highway near Sampaje on Tuesday March 1 was killed after an unidentified vehicle rammed into him.

Kumar had suffered serious injuries in the accident. He was admitted into a private hospital in Mangaluru. He however failed to respond to efforts made to save his life.

Kumar is survived by wife and three sons. Sullia police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
