Bengaluru, Mar 3: Judge of the state high court, Justice Krishna S Dixit, who gave certain advice of wisdom to an estranged doctor couple on the ways of handling life, succeeded in convincing the couple to unite and lead a harmonious life. This happened on Wednesday March 2.

The bench presided over by Justice Dixit took up a petition filed by the wife seeking orders to the family court directing it to sanction interim alimony on Wednesday. The bench which took the case for hearing, suggested to the doctor couple to enter into compromise and settle the dispute at once. In the next session, the husband-wife duo filed a joint memo stating that they had decided to compromise and live together again.

The wife then expressed a sense of grief at why she faces such things in life. The judge, who referred to some lines from Shakespeare's sonnets, asked the couple not to have a feeling that they are facing all the problems, but not others. He said that life is a mirage and everyone has problems even though a view from a distance makes it look like someone is better off. He advised the couple never to keep lamenting about their lives and instead, find where they went wrong and introspect on that issue. At the same time, he advised them to develop the habit of pardoning each other.
