Bengaluru, Apr 25: Wearing masks and maintaining social distancing has been made mandatory in crowded places and indoors in view of the sudden spurt in Covid infection cases.

This was decided at a high-level meeting convened by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai in view of the looming threat of Covid 4th Wave in the country.

Briefing reporters after the meeting chaired by Bommai at the Chief Minister’s Home Office of Krishna, Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr K Sudhakar said the State Government has released a fresh set of guidelines to be followed in view of the fears of Covid 4th Wave.

Revenue Minister R Ashok, members of the Covid Technical Advisory Committee and senior officials attended the meeting.

Dr Sudhakar asked the people to be more vigilant and careful and take the precautionary or booster dose to develop immunity against the pandemic.

Though those not wearing masks will not be fined, the minister appealed to the people to be cautious and take precautions in their own interest and also their neighbours and loved ones. ``We need to take the adherence to the guidelines very seriously,’’ he said.

1.9% cases in BBMP limits

In the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) limits, he said 1.9% of cases have been registered and, therefore, it is necessary to be cautious.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has termed that not taking vaccines was the main reason for the spike in the infections, he said urging all people to take the vaccines and also the precautionary third does.

The Health Minister said South Korea, Thailand and Japan have been reporting more cases on a daily bases. In view of the situation, more vigilance is being followed in the airports on people returning from those countries. Along with the returnees, their contacts and fellow travellers are also being tracked. Tele-monitoring is also being done, he said.

Dr Sudhakar said 10,000 Covid testing is being done across the State on a daily basis. Testing is also being done for those with symptoms based on the Government of India guidelines.

He said further steps will be announced after the video conference meeting convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with all Chief Ministers of States and Health Ministers on April 27.

One more reason for another wave and ongoing massive china flu lockdown in Shangai to manipulate US midterm elections later this year, where left leaning democrats having thin majority in the US senate. So to have hackable mail in voting. Communist chinese to control US and the whole world is ready to starve their own citizens to death in a big city like Shangai in the name of zero flu cases and starving economy of rest of the world who depend upon their materials also food items and to drive other nations also to total despair and chaos, then their ruthless control or dictatorship due to their previous robust economy.

Flu, every season it is there, using lockdown elite and communist chinese forcing the graphene oxide containing vaccines for high tech transhumanism, decimation and world control. Dr Yoval Noah Harari says now mass surveillance gone under the skin (using bio tech nano particle mRNA vaccines). These vaccines they have already pushed in western nations, in india also slowly these mRNA vaccines in the form of boosters come up it is not surprising. That's why waves after waves, lockdowns to force people these boosters, economy losses and state control as in china. Finally world control by ruthless communist China using communist leaning WHO's medical tyranny.

It’s so funny to see the ones making the laws/rules not following the protocol and expecting others to follow them.

UP and Mumbai High Courts had asked the authorities to submit any research reports as evidence in making masks as mandatory, but they failed to provide a single evidence and UP court ordered them to reimburse all the fine collected. In Mumbai a suit is filed to reimburse all the fines collected which is illegal even under Disaster Management Act as it's never a law. Now that DMA has been withdrawn the authorities lack any legality in promulgating any rules other than as an advisory only. In China all were vaccinated and despite a single case coming to light the strictest lockdown with not anyone let outside even to get bread thousands more cases are getting reported, which means all measures which were adopted by WHO from China Model are proving to be failures. So neither masks, social distancing, sanitizing nor vaccines have succeeded in preventing seasonal cold virus infection which is dubbed as corona. Strangely people are dying in hospitals despite being triple jabbed which means they lack immunity unlike those who had natural immunity through infections and they are doing fine as after 2 years any viral strains become more docile to spread faster and no need to create unscientific measures to benefit Indian Serum Institute which has unsold stock of 200 million doses of vaccines to push for 3rd doses which will fail against all variants just like it did in 2nd and 3rd waves.

I will provide you evidence, it's called common sense. Doctors and nurses have been wearing masks for centuries to be safe from contagious diseases. Please stop spreading your usual fake news.

@ Jeevan, exactly use common sense & provide evidence to prove it is scientific & not pseudo science. N 95 masks which are considered safest have the smallest holes in the range of 300 microns while viruses are less than 100 microns which means the advisory is like using football net to stop mosquitoes from either entering or leaving our houses while common sense won't prevent the same. Research reports & studies have found masks do more harm than benefit as they cause hypoxia or increase in CO2 instead of oxygen & thereby reduce our immunity causing bacterial infections which cause more deaths than viral infections. Inside operation theaters doctors & others use them only to prevent spit or exhaled breath containing bacteria coming out as open wounds are there & through them infecting them & that too in a sterilized environment & not humid & contagious environment of outside. Whatever contents I state are based on court proceedings, data produced by CDC of USA & ICMR reports that are in public domain unlike fake scamdemic creators unscientific measures & fear creating mandates to market unsold jabs. Better stop believing paid or fake media reports & do your own research before refuting any contradictory truths based on facts.

Doctors and nurses were not wearing  masks for centuries as you have mentioned, as mask in the form of a gauze  strip was first used in Poland  by Johann  ( Jan Radacki) and Paul  Berger in Paris only in 1898 and cloth mask  by Wu Lien  in Manchuria in 1910. Modern masks were used only from  1960 . Doctors and  Nurses do not always  wear masks in hospitals , they wear masks during surgery- so that THEY do not infect patients not vice versa,so more popularly  they are known  as surgical  masks.Airborne viruses can easily  travel upto 20 ft so the "Do Guz  Doori" (2 yards) will not work. Also see the images above none of the netas are wearing masks though  atleast  2 of them  are doctors. Yesterday at the meeting  with EU leaders  our leader was mixing, shaking hands and hugging  others at the meet without wearing a mask and obviously no social  distancing. When I went to examine  our leader for his throat  problem  few years back, I did not  wear a mask.Though  a qualified  ENT surgeon  I never wore a mask except  during  surgery  and though patients  with all  kinds of diseases  coughed and sneezed on me, I never remained  absent for a single  day in my professional career,  the key  word is "immunity " and immunity  comes through  exposure  and not from  what we drink or eat.I would differ with Dr Dev on vaccines, I believe vaccines  will prevent serious events even if someone  is infected, but  this so called "Precautionary Dose" is useless.

Doctor, Once upon a time vaccines were good or were made believed to be good. But Vaccines in the hands of communists and freemasons ? Whose agenda for one super power control during this 21st century and with nano, bio and gene therapy (DNA modifying) technology ? Using sophisticated military technology mRNA vaccines, graphene, 5G and BigPharma Control ? These elite freemasons bankrupt MD, ENT surgeons... only their high tech nano particle gene therapy vaccines for A to Z diseases but also evil surveilance under the skin claimed by elite Dr Yoval Noah Harari, even hacking human freewill. His videos are on youtube that humans are now hackable animals and human free will is over. So one could conclude why this covid in the first place.

To all the senior officials of all parties, Practice first. They're the one's who gather in large numbers and don't follow any protocols. Fines must be paid by all for flouting the law or else scrap the rules.
