Mangaluru: CFI activists hold protest, try to barge into education minister’s event

Mangaluru, Apr 27: Police stopped the activists of Campus Front of India (CFI) who tried to barge into a programme here at Hampankatta in which Education minister B C Nagesh was participating on Wednesday April 27.

The police blocked the activists on the road from entering the venue as they were shouting ‘Go Back Nagesh’.

The activists were protesting against the irregularities in distribution of uniforms.

The CFI activists were locked up inside the town hall by the police.

    they just want to riot..nothing else.. Its just waste of time.. CAA wont take anybodies citizenship, NRP is introduced by SC, nothing to do with present Govt, Yoga is n ancient healthy excercise practice, Scarf/face not at all banned in india banned except inside classroom, No ban on Loudspeaker except limit on decibel, No ban halal meat. just these people want to riot so spin everything..from India, US to EU same story..latest one in Sweden.

    protests like these should be done very selectively... as part of BJP all of them have to toe party line. B C Nagesh is one the better Ministers, well qualified and well-mannered. I have not heard of provocative statements or actions by him. This protest was not required in the circumstances.

    At this rate will be banned after their mother organization is banned.. This Campa Cola Front is responsible for ruining educational career of many muslim girls. Unforgivable. What uniforms they are agitating about? They want different uniforms .. Is it?

    @Edwin... You may be right with your words... Fight your own battle.... But when you know that tyrant rulers are totally against minorities be it Muslims, Christians, SC/ST, Adivasi's, then you cannot alone win a battle for your rights against such powerful tyrant rulers. These differences between communities made these rulers stronger... Unity is need of an hour... How to protest and seek for our rights then rightful leaders from all party should sit together and strategies.... Without unity we are lost...

    Please do not loop us into this issue and make it a common problem. Yes there are issues on Study material and Bible, but that is being discussed and handled separately. The Bangalore Bishop is involved now. Perhaps we may have an amicable solution soon. Hence these 2 issues are not the same . Irrespective of party affiliation , each one has his own choice in condemning and protesting.
