Udupi, Apr 29: Head constable Rajesh Kunder who shot himself with the service weapon on duty was back to work after suspension.
Disclosing this to the media persons on Friday, April 29, assistant superintendent of police S T Siddalingappa said, "Deceased Rajesh was a head constable in the District Armed Reserve Police. He was on night duty outside the SSLC examination question paper store room at the high school in Adi Udupi. When other personnel arrived on the morning of Friday to relieve him they found him dead.
“His family members have arrived. Based on their complaint we will take further action. He has used his service rifle to kill himself."
“He was suspended from work for a minor offence. After completing his suspension period, he had joined duty on the night of Thursday itself. FSL and RFSL teams have already arrived on the spot and done an inquest.”

Udupi, Apr 29: A police head constable allegedly shot himself dead from the service weapon he was carrying. This incident occurred at Adiudupi.
Rajesh Kundar, head constable with Armed Reserve Police Force, is the person who shot himself with his service rifle.
He was on security duty at the SSLC answer papers room in a school at Adi Udupi.
Senior police officials have rushed to the spot.
