Kasargod, Mar 6:  As a part of five-day religious festivities at the Enmakaje Beedina Mane near Perla here including the annual 'Nemotsava' of the traditional Pilichamundi Raktheshwri and Parivara Daivas of the Enmakaje house was held from Tuesday March 1 to Saturday 5 with gaiety and fervour.

The colourful and auspicious 'Pilichamundi Daiva Nemotsava’ was attended by approximately 5,000 people from the family, the surrounding 'gramas' (villages) and people from the state as well as outside.
The Enmakaje house has a history of more than 450 years from where the rich tradition of the nine 'Bhootas' can be traced. These bhootas are Pilichanmundi (the Rajan or main bhoota), Gulige, Sathyadevatha, Korathi, Posa bhoota, Chalena bhoota, Rakhtheswari bhoota among others.

Although for ages the Nemothsava was performed albeit on a small scale, the turning point came in 1994 when a fire destroyed the sacrosanct temple edifice and after a lot of deliberation from family elders, work began on the reconstruction of temple which was completed in 2004. Since then every year the customary 'Nemothsava' ceremony has been performed mostly on March 3, 4 and 5, but now it is done on March 1 and 2 as well to add the 'sangeetha bhajana' and 'kirthana' functions as well.

The present 'yejamane' (family head) is Enmakaje Vishwanath Rai representing the entire clan at all functions and religious ceremonies being conducted. On all five days of the function there is provision made for meals, tea, snacks to be served to the guests and locals.

The rituals were performed under the guidance of chief priest Delampady Balkrishna Tantri. Sri Mohandas Paramahamsa Swami of Manila Sridhama, Sri Yogananda Saraswati Swami, BJP leader K surendran, former MLA Shankuntala Shetty, Keshavanda Bharatiya Swamiji among others graced the occasion.

Various cultural programmes were organized. There was bhakti geethe recital by Ganesh Desai, Bangalore among other programmes. Prominent member of the Enmakaje House Sudhir Shetty of UAE Exchange and senior members of Enmakaje house were present on the occasion.

Proud to be part of the Enmakaje family and see the grandeur being captured here on Daijiworld which is a great privilege indeed for my family, friends and relatives.

However, kindly note the heading "Bountiful Devotees Recur at Enmakaje’s Age-old Nemotsava " just does not make any sense. Do re-write.

The glory of Hinduism is ineffable. It has within it all the features of a universal religion. Its Dharmas are universal. Its doctrines are sublime. Its philosophy is grand. Its ethics is soul-elevating. Its scriptures are wonderful. Its Sadhanas or Yoga-Vedantic practices are unique. Glorious has been the past of this religion still more glorious is its future. It has a message to give to a world rent asunder by hatred, dissension and war—the message of cosmic love, truth and non-violence, the gospel of unity of Self or Upanishadic oneness.

The more you know of India and Hinduism, the more will you come to regard and love it and the more grateful to the Lord will you be in that you have got a taste for practising Yoga and that you are imbibing the teachings and spirit of Hinduism.

Glory to India! Glory to Hinduism! Glory, glory to the Rishis and the seers who have kept burning the flame of Hinduism with its extreme effulgence and splendour!

Hinduism is neither asceticism nor illusionism, neither polytheism nor pantheism. It is the synthesis of all types of religious experiences. It is a whole and complete view of life. It is characterised by wide toleration, deep humanity and high spiritual purpose. It is free from fanaticism. That is the reason why it has survived the attacks of the followers of some of the other great religions of the world.

No religion is so very elastic and tolerant like Hinduism. Hinduism is very stern and rigid regarding the fundamentals. It is very elastic in readjusting to the externals and non-essentials. That is the reason why it has succeeded in living through millennia.

The foundation of Hinduism has been laid on the bedrock of spiritual truths. The entire structure of Hindu life is built on eternal truths, the findings of the Hindu Rishis or seers. That is the reason why this structure has lasted through scores of centuries

What a tradition of 'hindu culture'..we are proud of it.. no where will find any parts of world..we the only people knows who is in between almighty god and human beings and there respective positions..and there power behind it..

Good Deeds in the hands of God
Bad Deeds in the hands of satan
when one is benefitted from 'daivas' from where did power derived from..God or Satan.. or from any other third force.. which is not visible..All are Happy..

Hinduism knows each and everything..from basic one step to last almighty.. other's are just hanging in between first to last..in between nothing but hollow..Jai Ho..
