31-year-old Kasargod resident Sanu Thomson stabbed to death in Bengaluru

Kasargod, Jul 15: A resident from Cheruvel here was stabbed to death by a gang in Bengaluru late night on Thursday July 14.

The deceased is identified as Sanu Thomson (31), a resident of Rajapur, Cheruvel. He was employed in the mechanical division of Tata at Jigani.

Sanu was returning home walking in the night, when a gang of three men who arrived on a bike, stabbed him with a knife to death and fled.

Police inspected the CCTV footage at the spot.

Thomson had been employed in Bengaluru since the last seven years. The exact reason for the murder is not known. It is suspected that the gang had conspired for the murder of another person but killed Thomson by mistake.

The relatives of Thomson went to Bengaluru after hearing the news. The mortal remains will be brought to the hometown after post-mortem in Bengaluru. His funeral will be held at Holy Family Church, Rajapura.
