Mangaluru: Two facing multiple cases booked under Goonda Act

Mangaluru, Jul 20: City police have invoked the Goonda Act against two persons in the city.

The Goonda Act has been invoked upon Preetham Poojary (26) alias Preethesh, Preetham, Preethesh Poojary, a resident of Jayanagara, Jalligudde Bajal. The other person is Dheeraj Kumar (27) alias Dheeraj, Dheeru, Dheeru Yekkuru, a resident of Yekkuru, Alape and Padil.

Several cases have been registered against the duo in various police stations in the city.

Cases have been booked against them for threatening, attempting to murder, kidnap, assault and various other crimes.

    Encounter them. Not fit to live in the society. Threatening, demand ransom, eliminating innocent people on the offer of lumpsum, collecting hafthas from vendors and bus owners on certain bus routes .
