Mangaluru: ‘Sadabahaar Bollywood’ live orchestra enthralls music lovers

Mangaluru, Sep 11: Pancham Entertainers, Raag Rang Events (R) organised a musical event, ‘Sadabahaar Bollywood’ retro-live orchestra at town Hall here on Sunday September 11.

Music director Pappan Calicut, corporator Jagadish Shetty, retired forest officer Khalid Akhtar, president of Karvali Sangeetha Okkuta Ramesh Saliayan, corporator Abdul Lateef, Mohammed Iqbal, Fayaz Khandak and Ravindra Prabhu inaugurated the event.

Songs of Lata Mangeshkar, Jesudas, Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar and Mukesh were sung on the occasion.

Founder and managing director of Daijiworld Media Pvt Limited Walter Nandalike, drummer and musician K K Naushad were honoured on the occasion by Pancham Entertainers, Raag Rang Events (R).

Addressing the gathering, Walter Nandalike said, "Today, the entire town hall is filled by music lovers. During the pandemic everyone was low, and there was a need to boost them. Hence, to bring positive energy among the people, Daijiworld has taken the initiative to give entertainment to the people through various artistes. The real credit goes to artistes, singers, and the background musicians. They are the only people who can entertain the audience."

Mayor Jayanada Anchan was present on the occasion.

Narasimha Prabhu and Chethan Shetty compered the event.
