Udupi: BJP more of a bribe, bed party – Former MLC Ivan D’Souza

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (HB/EP)

Udupi, Sep 13: “BJP does not believe in development and interaction with people. They are more interested in Nanga Nach and pleasure. They are interested in bribes and bed. They have no thoughts of uniting the country. They are interested in fragmenting the country for their gains. Bharath Jodo is the programme to unite Indians,” said former MLC Ivan D’Souza criticizing the administration by BJP.

Responding to the criticism over a T-Shirt worn by Rahul Gandhi, he said that it is not a big thing for Rahul Gandhi to wear a T Shirt costing Rs 41,000. The Indian Constitution has given the freedom to wear the clothes of his choice and eat the food that he likes. The way he studies and gets married are fundamental rights left to him. Wearing a T-Shirt is for comfort,” he said.

“While you speak about Rahul Gandhi, why don't you speak about Modi who was wearing a suit costing Rs 10 lacs,” he asked.

“Former chief minister Siddaramaiah does not speak against anybody. C T Ravi does not have the moral right to speak about Siddaramaiah. The principles of Siddaramaiah are excellent and there is no need to consider the talk by C T Ravi. Loot by Ravi is well known. People speak about his earnings. Siddaramaiah only repeated what the people spoke,” he said.

“BJP is trying to divide people as rich and poor. The rally by foot has a special meaning. It is a successful programme considering the support by people to it,” he said.

“I thank BJP and RSS for speaking about the Bharat Jodo rally. It shows that the rally has reached them. BJP should speak all the more about why they sold the land of the farmers and airports,” he said.

Have you done something different Ivan? during your rule. Chediless started corruption in Indian system for the last 70 over years which is deeply rooted in our system. Congress should be held responsible for the current state of India related to corruption.

Mohit...come out of Bhakths ideology. Always blaming Congress and Nehru. What is BJP contribution for the last 8 years? Where is our economy heading to? After Modi came to power, poor and middle class suffered a lot. Only super rich Ambani and Adani prospered. Forget about Mangalore roads which was repaired for Modi's visit and after 10 days roads are not worthy for vehicles. Great achievement by BJP.
