Kasargod, Jan 12: The anniversary of Kayyar Christaraja Church here was celebrated on Wednesday January 10 with a variety of programmes.

Kasargod deanery chief priest Fr Valerian Frank offered the holy mass. Fr Baptist Menezes delivered the homily. Fr John Baptist D’Souza, parish priest of St John de Britto Church Narampady; Fr Francis Rodrigues, church priest of Sacred Heart of Jesus Varkady; Fr Daniel D’Souza, church priest of St Thomas The Apostle Kollangana; Fr Paul D’Souza church priest of St Lawerence Church Maniampare; Fr Santhosh Lobo, church priest of Mother of Sorrows Church Kasargod; Fr Marcel Saldanha church priest of St Monica Church Kumble; Fr Anil Joel D’ Souza church priest of Our Lady of Fathima Miapadavu; Fr Stanislaus D’Souza church priest of Sacred Heart of Jesus, Ukkinadka, Fr Benjamin D’Souza from Kayyar Church, Permude; Fr Melwin Fernandes chapel director of St Lawrence Church and Fr Roshan Lopez chapel director of Bovikkana were present.



Kayyar church vice president of parish pastoral council, John D’Souza presented flower bouquets to the guests and welcomed them.

Kasargod deanery chief priest Fr Valerian Frank released ‘Rai Kumvar’, annual magazine of the church.

Kayyar Christaraja church priest Fr Victor D’Souza, distributed holy candles. Church pastoral council committee secretary Roshan D’Souza and vice president John D’Souza led the programme. Fr Valerian Frank blessed the new generator bought for the church.
