Bengaluru: RGUHS declares results within 30 minutes of MBBS examination

Bengaluru, Aug 7: The times have changed. Students need not wait for months together to get their results after writing examinations. In the present system, results can be announced within half an hour of writing the examinations.

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences had created record earlier also by declaring results within 15 minutes of completion of the examination for certain courses. However, the number of students then was less. Now the university has come into appreciation once again by declaring the results of 8,000 students within half an hour of completion of the examinations.

Theory examination for the main course of MBBS degree had taken place on July 3. As many as 8,174 students had written the examination on that day. On an average of six answer papers per student, the valuation of around 61,000 answer papers was completed within the stipulated time. From July 25 to August 5, viva and practical examinations were conducted in almost all medical colleges for the 8,174 students. On Sunday, August 5, as soon as the practicals and the viva of the students got over, their marks were uploaded on the online portal of the university.
