KSRTS Volvo services have many "Firsts" to start with, but end up with dirty, battered un serviced buses within a shortest time which in my opinion are the most unsafe Volvos on the roads of Karnataka, as opposed to Private Volvos, which make their presence known even from a distance.

Every time I travel in a KSRTC Volvo, I notice volumes of smoke coming out of the exhaust, stinking seats and oily rexine head rests, first front reserved for the Driver of the bus, who is always arrogant, and acting like he owns the whole bus.

Most of KSRTC bus drivers are not trained well to drive such a high quality bus, which reflects in their poor driving habits which effects the safety and performance of the bus, depriving the passengers a truly luxurious bus journey.

Apart from providing cheap drinking water bottles they never disinfect, clean and use air fresheners to make the air healthy, due to which passengers breath stale dirty air throughout the journey.

The drivers are hand in glove with dirty cheap restaurant owners without clean toilet facilities, where they force passengers to have food and beverages against their will.

Sleeper buses must be even bigger health threat and a night mare unless the bus is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected thoroughly on a daily basis.

Several years ago, people were reluctant to travel by government buses. KSRTC has changed that mind set by providing excellent service. The quality of the buses is very good and the punctuality is something the private buses should learn from. I have travelled many times by the KSRTC Multi Axle buses to Bombay and would unhesitatingly say that these buses are much better than SRS Travels' buses. The SRS Travels' Scania buses are not at all comfortable and by the time the passenger reaches Bombay, he or she is bound to develop neck pain as the head rest is so narrow that it is unable to accomodate both the head as well as the neck. There is nothing to support the neck.

Bullet train for what? You comment does not make any sense. The present railways in the whole country is sub-standard. Just think of the people who went trough in Mumbai, Vadoara, and other places.
