Kasargod, Aug 3: In a gruesome incident, a man hacked four of his relatives to death.
 
The incident took place on Monday, August 3, at Bayar near Kaniyala Gurukumeri, around 7 pm in the evening on Monday, August 3. The man killed three of his uncles and an aunt who were staying together at a house.
 
The deceased have been identified as Sadashiva (54), Vittala (52), Babu (50) and Devaki (58). The man who killed them is Udaya, who is said to be their relative. Locals caught him and handed him over to the police.

A preliminary investigation by the police revealed that the incident took place following familial strife. A police team led by Kasargod DSP Balakrishnan are investigating the matter.

As per reports, the bodies of the victims have been taken to Kasargod General Hospital. The incident drew the attention of several people in the district who claimed to have been stunned by the heinous act.
