Bengaluru, Sep 19: Karnataka on Monday, September 19, reported 253 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 3,568. Bengaluru urban's single-day tally is 140.
No deaths were reported due to coronavirus in the state on Sunday. The death toll in the state has risen to 40,234.
The state recorded 431 discharges from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total discharges to 40,17,872.
So far, Karnataka has seen 40,61,716 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 4.15%. As many as 11,94,72,440 people have received vaccination so far.
