Mumbai, Apr 28: India International Trade Centre (IITC) will be hold Fashion Show – 2011 at Hotel the Leela Kempinski, Sahar Road, Andheri (East) here on Saturday May 7.
The first stage show of the programme will begin with the catwalk of models at 2.30 pm, while the second stage programme will begin at 7.00 pm.
The bollywood actors and celebrities including dignitaries will attend the mega Fashion Show, informed IITC director Vikrant Urwal.
Over 300 students of IITC from its branches across the metro will showcase their designer clothes by walking on the ramp. The show will be held to boost the self-confidence of students to compete in the fast changing fashion world, informed director Reena V Urwal.
IITC chairman S K Urwal is a native of Beltangady taluk of Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka, who has over 45 years of experience in fashion industry. IITC was founded by S K Urwal in 1966 and has 8 branches across the metro and over 13 branches in the rest of country.
ITC offers wide choice of courses in airline and travel – tourism course, post graduation diploma in aviation, tourism and hospitality management, international airlines and travel management, air hostess and flight purser training, international air cargo management, hotel management, fashion designing with garment construction, fashion merchandizing, interior designing, jewellery designing and accessory designing. IITC is IATA and UFTAA approved institute.
The students trained at IITC are working in Air India, Indian, KLM, North West, Gulf Air, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Saudia, Kuwait Airways, Jet Air, Air Sahara, Spice Jet, Go Air, Kingfisher Airlines, Kambatta Aviation, Taj Palace and Resort, SOTC, Cox and Kings, Inter Continental, TCI, Orbit, Thomas Cook, WNS, Kale Consultant, leading export houses and well known designer stores among other segments.
