Mangaluru, Oct 10: Sabitha Monis, student welfare officer , Alvas College inaugurated the newly built head office of Snehalaya Charitable Trust (R) in city on Monday, October 6.
Fr Vincent Francis Monteiro, parish priest, St Sebastian Church, Bendur, blessed the office premise and led a prayer ceremony. Naveen D'Souza, corporator unveiled the name board of the office. Fr Andrew Leo D'Souza, parish priest, Bondel, Dr Vasanth Kumar Shetty, director, Saanidhya Residential School, Raffiq Master, motivational speaker, Avalon Patrao, partner, Paradise Properties were present as chief guests.
Elias Fernandes, Four Winds, Anil Lobo, chairman, MCC Bank Ltd, Abdul Rauf Puthige, MD, Vishwas Bawa Builders, Vishnu Shetty Ambalpady, social worker, Raymond D'Cunha, editor, Pingara, J V D'Mello, Sunil Kumar Bajal, Jacintha Alfred, Mohammed Hashim, Yigesh Shetty, Stany Bela and Hindla Lobo were the guests of honour.
Inaugurating the office, Sabitha Monis, said, "I am fortunate to inaugurate the new office of Snehalaya. The presence of Bro Joseph Crasta makes me feel that I am standing nearer to a saint. Bro Joseph and Snehalaya are an inspiration for us to think about society and the needy."
In his speech, Fr Andrew said "Bro Joseph is a straight reflection of pure love which comes from God. The service done by Joseph and his allies indicates how God poured blessings on the needy through some individuals. Now Snehalaya got a new office at Mangaluru city which may ease the service related works of the institution. I wish all the success to Snehalaya and Bro Joseph for their upcoming projects "
Rafiq Master and Vasanth Kumar Shetty lauded the service of Snehalaya and assured their support for service related projects of Snehalaya.
During the event, Sabitha Monis was felicitated by guests and trustees of Snehalaya.
Bro Joseph Crasta welcomed the dignitaries and gathered. Olivia Crasta proposed a vote of thanks.
The new office of Snehalaya is situated at Lotus Paradise Plaza, 4th floor , Door No 417, Bendoorwell, Mangaluru.
