Mangaluru: Three persons detained for tearing Sharadotsav flex

Mangaluru, Oct 11: The city police have detained three persons on Tuesday, October 11, in connection with tearing a flex hung at a public place by Vamanjoor Friends' Association for Sharadotsav.

The incident was reported on October 8 and a case of attempts to spoil communal harmony was registered at Mangaluru rural police station and investigation started.

The police have detained three accused Sumit Hegde, Yathish Poojary and Pravin Poojary in this connection. Police have also confiscated the Swift car used by the accused for the purpose.
