To withdraw funds from bank account using ATM card you need 2 components. Card and Pin or Card and OTP. Both getting compromised? Thirdly you receive an SMS when any amount gets withdrawn. 9.75 lakhs cannot be withdrawn in a day or 2 days or even a week. The case is weak. So does it mean the mobile phone too was compromised? Something fishy.

Open a seperate bank account linked to the debit card and keep a small amount in this account. Larger sums should be kept in a separate bank account which has no card facility, no Internet/ digital outward remittance facility. Do not allow any unknown person including tenants inside the house.
