Mangaluru/Udupi, Oct 15: Dakshina Kannada on Saturday, October 15, reported three new coronavirus cases while two cases were registered in Udupi.

The total number of positive cases in the Dakshina Kannada district has risen to 1,37,103 out of which 22 are currently active. No patients were discharged on October 15.

No deaths were reported on October 15. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,861.

Positivity rate for the day stood at 0.52 percent.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 1,16,05,880 as fine in 96,212 incidents of mask violation.

Udupi

Two coronavirus cases were reported on October 15.The total active Covid cases are 22.

A total of 10,90,787 people have received the first dose of vaccination and 10,85,738 have received both doses and 2,95,286 people have received booster doses.

Udupi registered two cases while no cases were reported in Kundapur and Karkala.
