Bantwal: Man held for trying to transport cattle illegally

Bantwal, Oct 16: Bantwal town police have arrested a person for trying to illegally transport cattle on Saturday morning.

The operation was conducted by sub-inspector of crime section Kalaimaar and his staff on Friday night while the personnel were on their rounds in Poorlippadi near Kalladka.

Two animals were rescued.

The accused arrested is Mohammed Ismail (47), a resident of Goltamajalu village. Two others Sattar and Rishaz, residents of Madaka village have been identified as accused and are absconding.
