Beltangady: Motorcycles collide, three suffer serious injuries in mishap

Beltangady, Oct 17: Three persons, including a brother and a sister were seriously injured in a head-on collision between two motorcycles.

The brother and sister who were on the motorcycles are identified as Karthik (20) and Krupa (18), who are Umesh Gowda's children and residents of Jenkinadka in Koyooru village. The two suffered serious head and leg injuries and all the three have been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru.

Karthik and Krupa had left home and were on the way to a temple, it is learnt. Fairoz (20), who works as a delivery boy was on his motorcycle from Belali towards Beltangady when the accident occurred with the motorcycles that had the brother and sister on it.

Beltangady traffic police have registered a case.

    Not even a day pass of without the news of an accident . I request all youngsters to drive slow. Please do not overspeed Follow road rules and especially in rainy season drive very slow in correct lane. I feel very sad whenever I see a news of an accident for I believe all accidents can be prevented . Lets follow traffic rules drive slow and please be careful when driving. Lets follow traffic rules
