Release of convicts in Bilkis Bano case exposes BJP's cruel mindset: Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru, Oct 18 (IANS): Karnataka Opposition leader Siddaramaiah on Tuesday launched attack on the BJP government at the Centre for releasing the convicts in Bilkis Bano case.

"Home Minister of India's order to release the convicts in Bilkis Bano case, exposes the cruel mindset of Indian BJP leaders. They have brought shame to the entire country by granting pardon to these inhuman vultures," Siddaramaiah stated.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah should resign and apologise to the entire nation, he demanded.

"It is unfortunate that BJP party wants to use sensitive issue for their political agenda. The release of those inhuman rapists and murderers is to polarise electorate ahead of Gujarat elections," Siddaramaiah charged.

He further stated that for BJP, elections become more important than the concerns of women of this country.

The entire nation has seen the beautiful bond of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother. But, why could PM Modi not see the pain of the mother who lost her infant and unborn child, Siddaramaiah questioned.

India will not forgive this inhuman decision of BJP government to grant pardon, he stated.

Where are the women MPs from BJP? Siddaramaiah questioned.

"If they can't stand up even for women's causes, they are unfit to continue in their positions. Can they sleep peacefully knowing that rapists were released by their party for political reasons?," Siddaramaiah further stated.

Well said Mr. Siddaramiah, he echoes the sentiments of all sane Indians. These BJPigs will stoop to any level to stay in power. Where is Shobha who otherwise is vocal, what about Smriti, what about Nirmala ? No word from them ….. power is what they want, they have no guts to ask questions justifying the release of these criminal’s - anyway, we have thousands of blind bhakths who will not see reason, unless and until it hits them directly and their mothers and sisters or family face such trauma. No doubt Lord Ram will punish these maniacs,

How strange and cruel to release the 11 rapists and murderers considering their “good behaviour”! If the government thinks raping a woman belonging to a different community and killing her 3-year old child is forgivable, ask those politicians and organizations who supported the release of these hardcore criminals and garlanded them upon their release, if a Hindu woman was raped and her child was killed by non-Hindus, would they consider such clemency to those rapists? God forbid such things happening to any woman irrespective of her religion. While there are plenty of petty criminals all over the country, it's strange that the government found "good behaviour" in only those 11 rapists and murderers. These butchers were released from the orders of VHP & RSS. If they want to release someone, they will find good behaviour in them; if they want to imprison their opponents, they will fabricate a case against him. God save India!

No it is not bjp's mindset. It is the fact that they think and are sure that there are people out there who wil vote for bjp for letting the rapists and murderer of bilkis 3yr old child, free. Such a shame that such people exist in the society. Most of them which such mindset are also educated.
