Udupi: Class 10 student found dead on rail track after being run over by express train

Udupi, Oct 19: Adarsh (17), a 10th standard student of Sooda High School and a resident of Belman was found dead after he came under the wheels of Garib Rath Express train at Kolachooru near Nandikooru village on Tuesday October 18.

The boy was said to be talented and a cricketer too. Recently, he had got selected for a state-level cricket competition. He had come under the wheels of a train as he was lost in thought out of some sadness and died.

The loco pilot of Garib Rath Express had reported about it to the control room. When the railway gangman Umesh undertook a search on the route, the mortal remains of Adarsh were found. When his scooter that was parked near the railway track was searched his mobile phone was found and when his number was called, Adarsh's identity came to light.

    Stress, poor performance in studies could be reason. Economic progress of our country makes parents rich and now they can afford scooters, high end mobile phones , enough pocket money to high school pupil. That makes pupil irresponsible.

    Wah... Sanjay Hebri, wah !. India is standing few notches from topping the hunger chart but according to you people have progressed economically. Are you a personal advisor of Nirmala Sitaram ? She to has explanation to sliding Rupee - that the Dollar is strong, not the other way round. .

    @Deshbakth- yesterday one media was discussing the same issue. Srilanka ranked 65, india 115 , meanwhile india sent free grain supply to sri lank. That is the problem when collect data from telephone interviews without visiting any country

    10th std boy ? What can be his age ? 16 ? 17 ? How come he had a scooter ? He carried it on his shoulders ?? Surely he wasn't riding it - was he ?? Parents, please understand the legality before giving in to your child's demands. Nevertheless, RIP.
