Kasargod: Two, including a student die in road mishap involving lorry, scooter

Kasargod, Oct 19: Two people including a student have lost their lives in a tragic accident between a lorry and a scooter at Kanakapalli, near Vellarikundu, on Wednesday evening, October 19.

The deceased were scooter rider Umesh (22) and Manikanta (18). Manikanta was a student of Plus two at the Valli Kadavu higher secondary school.

 

 

The accident occurred at about 6.30 pm. The scooter was being driven from Vellarikandu to Parappa. The lorry was loaded with parcels. Both the deceased were thrown on to the road due to the impact and suffered critical injuries. Though they were rushed to the hospital, their lives could not be saved. Their mortal remains are kept at the district hospital.

    May their souls rest in peace.Nowadays when one goes out not sure if he comes home safely or not.Specially these scooters.Scooters are always between big lorrys and tanks get accidently without drivers knowledge .Heartfelt sympathys to their parents.
