Mangaluru, Oct 20: Dr Norbert Lobo, an associate professor of Economics and director of Admin Block at St Aloysius College (Autonomous) here, passed away at a private hospital on Thursday October 20. He was 57.
Dr Lobo was teaching economics for the last 27 years and was working as associate professor of economics. Apart from academics, he was involved in career guidance, counselling and training.
Dr Lobo had completed his PhD in 2002. He also held MPhil, MA and MHRM degrees.
He had served as the president of Association of Mangalore University College Teachers (AMUCT) and also as the vice-president of All India Federation of University and College Teachers Organisation (AIFUCTO).
