Bengaluru: Paresh Mestha’s father urges CM to direct CBI to reinvestigate case

Bengaluru, Oct 20: The death case of Paresh Mestha that occurred at Kumta, Uttara Kannada district has climbed the steps of Vidhana Soudha. Kamalakar Mestha the father of late Paresh Mestha personally submitted a request to chief minister Basavaraj Bommai at the chief minister’s office here today saying that the death of his son was unnatural.

“The CBI has submitted a B report stating that there is lack of evidence depriving me of justice. Four months had elapsed since the case was handed over to the CBI and the evidence was destroyed. As there is a need for more detailed investigations, the CBI should be directed to reinvestigate the case,” he stated.

The chief minister who listened to him, said that the government understands his pain as a father. “Suitable action will be taken regarding the reinvestigation of the case,” he assured.

Uttara Kannada district in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, labour minister Shivaram Hebbar, fisheries minister S Angara, MLA Dinaker Shetty, Sunil Nayak and Kumar Narayana Markande were also present.

    First police should arrest father of late Paresh Mestha for spreading enemity between community even after finding it was death by drowning .Already many innocents faced jail for long time for no reason only because false case.If he really wants to play politics dont in the cost of innocent youth whose life already spoiled by spending 5 years in jail on fake case.

    This party only wants to keep the cauldron burning for elections . Dad wants to make money and be in the limelight. political party bjp only wants to politicize , look at sushant singh rajputs case same story. suddenly bjp is not talking about it.
