Daijiworld Media Network – Bantwal (EP)

Bantwal, Oct 20: Dikshita, wife of Padmanabha Poojary, a resident of Ganadapalu of Barimaru village gave birth to triplets on October 19 at 12.45 pm. The mother and the infants are reported to be doing well.

She delivered a male child followed by two female children. The delivery of children was through caesarean section that was performed at the Lady Goshen Hospital, Mangaluru by a team of doctors led by Dr Vinita Shetty.

The doctors said the infants are being monitored at the hospital's ICU unit as they weigh less.

The family members of Dikshita thanked the doctors who admitted and treated Dikshita at the Lady Goshen hospital with special care and initiative during the last one and a half months.

There is joy in the family of poor construction worker Padmanabha Poojary on the arrival of three infants. However, the responsibility of raising them may be a challenge for the family.
