Udupi: 44-year-old goes missing leaving suicide note, complaint filed

Udupi, Oct 21: A case is filed in Malpe police station by the relative of a person who has gone missing since October 18.

Praveen Belchada (44), a resident of Nejaru Nidamballi is the missing person. According to complaint filed by his relative Prakash, Praveen left home on October 18 saying that he will return in some time or on the morning of following day but has not returned home.

Praveen had married Sandhya six years ago and the couple reportedly had marital issues between them. His wife and child are living in her mother’s house. Praveen used to have food and snacks in his relative Prakash’s house.

Prakash was informed by the neighbour of Praveen that Praveen had locked the house and left the key outside. When the relatives opened the house, they saw a chit in which missing Praveen had written that he himself is responsible for his death.

Praveen is 5.6 feet tall and wheat complexioned. Public is requested to contact Malpe police station if they come across missing Praveen.
