Mangaluru Oct 21: The Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a protest here at Clock tower on Friday, October 21, against the alleged ongoing academic issues at Mangaluru University.

ABVP alleged that the university is delaying the announcement of results and with no marks cards as well the students' higher education is affected. The students who have completed their exams in 2021 have not received their marks sheet yet, it added.

People are expecting results of revaluation. Even after paying the fee for revaluation the university has not begun the evaluation yet, ABVP said.

Students who wish to pursue higher education in other universities or apply for jobs are unable to do so as the marks cards are still not issued, it added.

In addition, the students are deprived of scholarships, hostel admission and bus passes due to inordinate delay in marks card issue, said ABVP.
