Mangaluru: Youths in inebriated state disfigure rangoli, video goes viral

Mangaluru, Oct 27: A group of youths who were in an inebriated state disfigured a rangoli that was drawn for Deepavali festival and misbehaved with the people in an incident at Bejai.

In an apartment a rangoli was drawn that carried greetings for the Deepavali festival. But, it is learnt that a few students hailing from Kerala disfigured the rangoli.

One of the youths was found holding an alcohol bottle while another stepped on the rangoli and disfigured it. This act was captured on a CCTV camera. The police visited the spot and examined the incident.

MLA Vedavyas Kamath has shared this incident on a video on his Facebook page and has urged police to take strict action.

The video has gone viral in the social media.

    These youths have misbehaved and hurt the sentiments of the flat owners who were celebrating Diwali festival. Police should give them strict warning without damaging the youths future. Right advise may motivate these students to live as better citizens.

    I have seen students drinking beer and riding on two wheeler in front of Barke station ,also with wearing helmet . They ride recklessly risking others life and are not scared and bully everyone on the road .
