Karnataka reports 195 fresh Covid cases, zero deaths in last 24 hours

Bengaluru, Oct 27: Karnataka on Thursday, October 27, reported 195 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 1,915. Bengaluru urban's single-day tally is 173.

Zero deaths were reported due to coronavirus in the state on Thursday. The death toll in the state has risen to 40,254.

The state recorded 233 discharges from hospitals on Thursday, taking the total discharges to 40,26,177.

So far, Karnataka has seen 40,68,388 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 4.12%. As many as 12,04,67,818 people have received vaccination so far.
