Mangaluru, Oct 29: The mortal remains of Arun Kumar (35), a resident of Shivanagara of Moodushedde, who jumped into Gurpur river on October 27 evening, were found late in the afternoon on Friday October 28.

Arun Kumar used to work as a painter. He got married in 2017 and has a son. However, he got divorced. It is also said that Arun tried to kill himself seven years ago by consuming poison due to depression.

On October 27 evening, Arun had spoken to his brother-in-law from the Gurpur bridge before jumping into the river. He kept his scooter, footwear and mobile phone on the bridge and jumped into the river.

As per the complaint filed by Charan Kumar, Bajpe police have registered a case.

    It is unfortunate to see educated people relate personal reasons like divorce, anxiety, depression with demo, lockdown etc, but it has different solutions with care takers or counseling departments. He had some problems 7 years back too, and demo came later in the timeline. Please note
