Udupi, Oct 30: In a ghastly accident that occurred between a motorcycle and car, a youth died on the spot near Hiriyadka Pre-University Government College on Saturday.
Stalin (18), a resident of Puttige near Hiriyadka is the deceased youth. He was going towards Puttige from Hiriyadka town. A Skoda car approaching from the opposite side crashed onto this bike. Stalin, who fell onto the road along with his bike, received grievous injury to his head and died on the spot. The bike was completely mangled in the accident.
At the same time, an Eco Sports car that was tailing Stalin’s bike lost control and hit an electric pole and entered into a roadside bush.
A case is registered at Hiriyadka police station.
