Mangaluru/Udupi/Beltangady, Oct 30: Some parts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi received good rains on Saturday.
Mangaluru, Udupi, Manipal, Karkala received rains on the evening and night of Saturday.
In the midst of sun and chill, good rain showered at Beltangady, Dharmasthala, Ujire, Mundaje, Indabettu, Bangadi and surrounding areas on the late evening of Saturday. Malavanthige, Mittabagilu, Kadirudyavara, Nada, Kanyadi, Mundaje, Kalmanja, Charmadi, Ujire, Puttur and nearby areas received normal rains.
At present there is chill in the morning and sunshine till evening. Post evening, it has been raining. Already the highway condition is pathetic with asphalting not done. The rain is further delaying the work. In addition, agriculturists are facing difficulty as they are not able to harvest the crop.
