Karnataka reports 160 fresh Covid cases, positivity rate at 1.92 percent

Bengaluru, Oct 30: Karnataka on Sunday, October 30, reported 160 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 2,084. Bengaluru urban's single-day tally is 114.

No deaths were reported due to coronavirus in the state on Sunday. The death toll in the state has risen to 40,256.

The state recorded 83 discharges from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total discharges to 40,26,529.

So far, Karnataka has seen 40,68,911 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 1.92 %. As many as 12,04,89,273 people have received vaccination so far.
